Trade Help
I made an offer to a team, and i left it open while im at class now...
Year is 2008 All picks Me trading: 2008 1.1 (1st round.1st pick Me Getting: (Washington is perenially bad) 2008 1.5 2009 1st 2010 1st 2010 2nd 2010 5th there is a stud RB in the pool this year allthough my scout is only average at rating. Is the trade worth the risk? I tend to think so, but I would have done it already if i had felt 100% on it. Thanks |
Also theres a good chance my team wont do very well next year and I should be top 5 ( I pulled the 97 Florida Marlins or whatever year and firesaled all my players because injuries every year were bugging the heck out of me and losing the super bowl twice to the bengals. i just decided to start over) So it'll help in the long run i think but wont help next year. which may be okay. i dunno everyone can post to help :)

Looks like a ridiculously bad trade from Washington's standpoint and a great trade from yours. I think the 'Skins are underrating the picks in future years.

I recently made a similar trade, but would have been on the "washington" end of things. I gave up: 2009 #25 overall 2009 #29 overall 2010 1st rounder 2011 1st rounder I received: 2009 #3 overall 2010 1st rounder |

That's actually a fair trade, from my view. For the cost of three hopefully late 1st rounders (I'm assuming the '10 first rounders are of equal value), you move up to #3. At #3 you should be able to get an impact player, whereas at #25 it's unlikely. I probably wouldn't make that trade because I like draft picks too much, but it seems reasonable. Washington, on the other hand, gave up a 1(5), two other 1st round picks, and two MORE picks, for a 1(1). The difference in talent between a 1(5) and a 1(1) doesn't justify what they gave up, IMO. |
