New Sports Game: SportsClix
 

I just got back from the WizardWorld Texas Comicon with a promo figurine for a new game called SportsClix. The concept is similar to the Mage Knights, MechWarrior, and HeroClix games that have become really popular among giant dorks like myself.

This promo figure was included in a set of Heroclix I bought, and it's of Ichiro.

The guy who works for Wizard (the company making SportsClix) didn't know a lot about it, but here's what I was able to figure out:

-168 MLBPA licensed figures

-game comes out in April of '04

Told you it wasn't much.

At this point it's all Greek how you play this game, but if it's anywhere as addictive as Heroclix it's going to be cool as hell.

bump because I think this is pretty cool, and I want Sachmo to see it.
