NFL Week 12

5 Weeks left....

Go Big Blue!!....err wait, that was yesterday.

Ahh, what the hell...

Roses are red, Ohio State is blue...
We are going to Pasadena, and not YOU.

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 09:40 AM

What happened to Virginia Wreck, I mean Tech?

BC baybee!

(the only thing more out of place then me cheering for my local college team in a NFL thread is that Roncomatic person above me cheering for a team 1500 miles or so away from his no-college football playing laughable thing we call a "state" ;))

Cringer 11-23-2003 11:10 AM

1 hour before the games start and let me start off by saying congrats to the Vikings for thier win over Detroit.

Not much chance that the lossing streak continues for the Vikes today at home against the Lions.......oh well, they can beat the Lions up a little more so the Packers can whoop'em on Thanksgiving.

JeeberD 11-23-2003 11:12 AM

Ugh. I got a bad feeling about the Cowboys game today. Sucks even worse that I'm going to be stuck at work from noon till about nine pm tonight. I'm gonna miss all the football action... :(

Cringer 11-23-2003 11:37 AM

LMAO.....on FOX pregame. Bradshaw interviewing Favre asking about his thumb, "You ever think about taking some vicadin or percoset?"

Favre, "No, never crossed my mind. Now 6-7 years ago i didn't need a thumb problem to consider that."

They then had a little laugh.....the rest was pretty funny too. Those two guys should get a T.V. show together when Favre is done with football. They are always funny as hell together!

Cringer 11-23-2003 12:10 PM

1st pass by Favre is a 66 yd touchdown to Jevon Walker!!!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!

The_herd 11-23-2003 12:24 PM

I installed DirectTV this week and ordered the NFL Sunday Ticket. This is quite possibly the greatest thing on earth. I'm not forced to watch Dallas and Houston games every week now.:)

Welcome to the good life The_herd, welcome to NFL heaven.

Cringer 11-23-2003 12:44 PM

Ok, what is wrong with Bubba Franks, TE for the Packers? He hasn't done much this year, and to top it off he just completely stopped on a route and didn't even raise up his arms/hands to try to make the catch. This resulted in the pass being intercepted by a guy who was standing right behind him. All he had to do was lift his hands up! Fine don't catch it, but don't let the thing go right into the hands of the defender!! Two INT's for Favre today and both were headed towards Franks. I missed the first one flipping channels but this second one was ALL Franks' fault.

korme 11-23-2003 02:34 PM

Baltimore-Seattle shootout in the third! Marcus Robinson scores 3 TDs in the quarter.

Wright's numbers so far: 11/19 180 yards, 3 TD 0 INT

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 02:38 PM

If only Wright still played for South Carolina, they only would have lost by 25 points.

mckerney 11-23-2003 02:58 PM

Harrington throws TD passes on back to back passes...

...to Corey Chavous and Brian Williams.

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:08 PM

wow. what a clutch catch. And the Pats just CANNOT buy a coin flip. (0 for their last 12-13)

Trap game, and they are fighting to get out of the trap

i knew the Lions couldn't pull it out, they had some of my hopes up, but i called it before game time because it was just to easy for the Vikes to win against this team, at home, and after the last few weeks they have had. Oh well, Packers can catch them later on in the season.

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:13 PM

Holy heck. First play OT Banks gets INT by Vrabel

You get the feeling with all the lucky bounces (The INT then fumble giving the pats the ball back on the same play, the wonderful catch by Graham, and now this) that someone is smiling on the Pats.

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:17 PM

Instant karmawhack, right after the timeout, "The Texans have never blocked a Field Goal in their history"

F***!

TLK 11-23-2003 03:17 PM

Block

vtbub 11-23-2003 03:17 PM

LOL!

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:19 PM

And Mort called the miss on ESPN before it even happened.

Apparently they are studying the Tampa Bay method of blocking. The lookout Block.

Miss opponent, turn head, and yell "LOOKOUT!"

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:32 PM

Can I start a pool to put a hit out on Ken Walter? God what an awful punter

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:34 PM

I know I'm into double dola at this point.. but god what defense.

Could we have our first tie of the year?

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:39 PM

another break. defensive holding negates an INT :)

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 03:41 PM

Ravens - Seahawks going to OT with a last second field goal by the Ravens

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:43 PM

wow. Two super hot games in OT. is Ravens-Seahawks on Fox?

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 03:44 PM

Yes

korme 11-23-2003 03:45 PM

Bengals up 14-0 with 3:35 left in the 1st quarter. Chad Johnson is responsible both touchdowns, the first one just short of spectacular.

Dillon is getting his share of carries with a nice break away run early.

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:46 PM

PATS WIN!

Wheeeeewwww

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 03:46 PM

Pats win :(

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 03:47 PM

I am going to the Bengals - 49ers game on the 14th of December in Cincy. Free ticket :) Cant pass it up

SirFozzie 11-23-2003 03:50 PM

Bengals will be closer to the playoffs then the niners at that point I have a feeling

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 03:50 PM

Man, the Falcons started fast.

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 03:54 PM

wait, let me get this straight. The Ravens and Seahawks are tied at 41 in OT, and neither team scored in the first quarter? Wow.

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 03:56 PM

wow, Dunn just made a great catch and run... and I think Rolle may be dead from that block, seriously.... wow.

21-0 Falcons over titans

Cringer 11-23-2003 03:56 PM

Samari Rolle got HAMMERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dunn for an amazing run!!! Atlanta up 21-0 WOW!!

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 03:58 PM

man, that hit looked worse in full speed than slow-mo... I don't think I've ever said that before.

Cringer 11-23-2003 03:59 PM

Sorry, amazing run after catch.............and Sky, i take back that "already bet against the Falcons days ago" comment now.... :D

korme 11-23-2003 04:03 PM

Shit, the Ravens won.

MikeVic 11-23-2003 04:21 PM

4TDs by Marcus Robinson, 4 TDs by Anthony Wright, 5 TDs by Matt Hasselbeck.. :( I wish I had any of those guys on my team.

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 04:27 PM

I have Matt Hasselbeck :)

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 04:28 PM

dola-

Actually, he is starting on 2 of my 3 Yahoo! teams

j51 11-23-2003 04:30 PM

How bout them Cowboys?

#1 seed in the NFC

Scoobz0202 11-23-2003 04:31 PM

Cowboys are the pwn. Fav team here. Can't wait for the Thanksgiving showdown with Miami.

korme 11-23-2003 04:40 PM

21-13 Bengals and Chad Johnson wants to challenge Robinson for most TDs in a game today, he's got his third in the 2nd quarter.

He gets the screen, and just breaks Sammy Davis with a nasty juke.

INDalltheway 11-23-2003 04:44 PM

I am so lucky. I have both Chad Johnson and Jon Kitna. :D What a hook up today!

korme 11-23-2003 04:56 PM

Kelley Washington gets the 4th TD pass from Kitna, 28-13 with 11 seconds in the 1st half. Washington does a goofy dance. Nice.

TLK 11-23-2003 05:02 PM

Worst. Dance. Ever.

korme 11-23-2003 05:03 PM

Hahaha I liked it.

SnowMan 11-23-2003 05:27 PM

sigh....Seahags....

The_herd 11-23-2003 05:32 PM

There was a Kordell sighting in the bears game, Chicago leads denver 16-10.

Easy Mac 11-23-2003 06:06 PM

Wow, Atlanta collapsed.
