patriots.com has changed the logo to the throwback logo, on the top left of their homepage, cool...

Thanks Hawglaw, I had come across the site in the past and it does have a large stash of logos. Unfortunately a number of them aren't the best quality, theSLE had most (if not all) of their logos in .eps format, which I didn't know how to use then but have been learning to little by little.

What is with the elf-like thing for the Browns logo?

for a while teams had these "figures." I don't think they were helmet logos, rather they were for banners and such. I know Green Bay has one, and I think I seen colts and KC (which should help date them a little.)

The Jags were sued by the car-maker Jaguar over the similarity of their logo, so they had to switch to just the fierce "head shot", much like what their expansion cousins the Panthers had at the time.

But I agree that the original Jaguars logo was better.
