Expansion?

In my franchise I have yet to see an expansion team. Is it in this years game?

sabotai 12-10-2003 04:35 PM

Nope.

Email is also informational. Perhaps the most important Email you'll receive is the informational message at the beginning of every year. This details increases in the salary cap and the league's minimum salary as well as news about expansion drafts and other events.

The amateur draft lasts seven rounds, with each team allowed one pick in each round. The order for the draft is determined by reversing the order of last season's standings, with the Front Office Bowl teams placed at the end of each round. Expansion teams, if any, select before other teams.

Why didn't Jim take this out of the help file?

Tasan 12-10-2003 04:49 PM

Probably because he pretty much used fof4's help files, and he missed those lines.

Maybe because the bulk of those statements still apply to the game, and he missed deleting the references to expansion. Or, maybe he decided not to spend the time taking it out, if expansion is ultimately going to be a part of the game at some point in the future.

Personally, I like option 2 better!

Hell, wasn't the help file named FrFoot4.hlp for the demo.

Not to sound like an *sshole, but big parts of the helpfile in the demo is the same as in the helpfile for the demo of FOF2 (FOF1999, EA's FOF).
