FOFC Hot Chick Survivor 2k4: Tournament Edition

Hot Chick Survivor 2k4 Format Change: The 04' incarnation of FOFC Hot Chick Survivor will be a tournament of 128 “Hot Chicks”. This years contest will be run in the dynasty forum (with the polls in the Dynasty Poll section) to avoid cluttering up General Discussion (I’m figuring that participation will go down with no pics. Kind of like a show getting bumped to the Bravo Network.) We will do one bracket-set a week. Reason for the Change: After looking at the comments from the final encounter (Cuthbert v. Casta), the general feeling was that neither girl deserved to be there. I'm thinking that with a tournament setup, it won't allow of anyone to slide through the cracks. It will be interesting to see if this setup nets a better result. Another change: The way we select the contestants for the tournament will differ this year. The first eight in are the top seven from last season, and Summer Altice (who ultimately ended up upsetting Elisha Cuthbert in another poll). The next 105 will come from the top contributors from last years contest (Post totals, no way to tell who voted). For every six posts a poster made in last years contest, they will get one entry, with a maximum of 4. The remaining fifteen spots will be decided through a nomination thread with the rest of the board, like this past year’s version. Timetable: -Listed below are the numbers of entries each poster will have. They will have two weeks to post in this thread, which “Hot Chicks” they are entering into the contest. -Following that two week period, any entries that are not used will be thrown into the general pool. This pool will start out will 15 entries. Any poster can nominate up to three “chicks” and will have the power to second one chick. Once a “chick” is seconded, she enters the field of 128. This will go on until the field is full. -The “chicks” will randomly be put in 8 brackets, which will be seeded by eight posters, sort of a “Selection Sunday” type of thing. Then the single elimination process begins. -I’m thinking the actual tournament won’t begin until mid-February which would be one year from the start of this year’s contest. Entry #’s- Code:

Time to make my picks...
As everyone probably knows, I am very partial to redheads. So there's no surprise that half my picks are such... Lady #1 My first pick is Laura Prepon. She's primarily known for her work on That Seventies Show, but she's also done some modeling work. I have a soft spot in my heart for her because she strongly resembles a girl I once dated... :) Lady #2 My second pick has to be Angie Everhart. Sure, she's jumped the shark a bit since she's doing such crap as Celebrity Mole, but I've always been in love with her. Her best days were when she was in the SI Swimsuit issues, and that's how I always remember her... Lady #3 Well, so there were my redheads. Now it's time for another of my current favorites, Christina Aguilera. She is so incredibly hot, as her Maxim photo shoot can attest to, and she has a great voice as well. Lady #4 Lucky lady number four isn't a redhead either. She's a total babe, though, and I'm shocked that she hasn't been nominated already. She is the one, the only Natalie Portman. I'm thinking that she has a damn good shot at taking this entire tournament. |
