GM Question

I just bought the game, and I want to play purely as the GM, and let the coach/coordinators deal with lineups and gameplans. However, I seem to be having a problem doing this. Is it just not possible????

Whenever I sim, if a guy gets injured or something, it always says that i have to fill his spot in the depth chart (which i don't want to have to do). And I choose the option of "coach resets depth chart after each week", but that doesn't seem to do a thing. Am I just missing something?

Also, lastly, I'm assuming and hoping that every coach that you hire has different gameplans and stuff... that doesn't just stay the same on per team basis does it? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you have it clicked inward, not out.

Also probably gonna have to turn on scouts automatically sign players to fill roster. Incase of a serious injury, somebody has to be signed when player is put on IR or Inactive.

1. Do you have the global option "scouts automatically sign minor players" turned on? If not, turn it on. It sounds like the coaching staff can't automatically set your depth chart because a roster move is needed (for example, an injured player needs to be inactivated and a replacement signed from the free agent pool).

2. The coaches base their gameplans on your roster, so they would be different from other teams.
