Someone else just pointed this out in another thread, but I'll do one here.....Holy crap I just lost over 200 posts!

Something going on we don't know about?

200?!? That's nothing. I lost 2000!

I lost about 150. Must be that new update Ryan was talking about last week. He mentioned it might affect post counts.

I think that the posts from the old board were lost for some reason. That would explain why I still have most of mine, since I was fairly quiet over there...

It must have subtracted our posts that came over from the old board. These are probably the numbers of our posts actually on this board.

Its really odd that it JUST started happening though. I sense a conspiracy. Someone get to Area 51 and see if they are moving the ships!

We were tidying up the message board before we carry out an upgrade. The number of posts you see beside your name is the number of posts you have made on this message board. All posts from the old board have been subtracted, apart from the few which were imported.

(I will warn you before the upgrade takes place)

Interesting shuffling of the deck. This may have some serious social implications.

What about the status. I only lost about 6 or 7 posts, since I was fairly new on the old board.

Now you just need to randomize the member numbers, and the status-junkies will go completely insane.

I like my 1111 member number!

I just want my 1.0 posts per day back, I worked hard for that.....and plus my old thread looks silly now ;- )

This is why I never posted whenever I hit a milestone post number.

Checking Post Count.... I bet I still have my 0.25/day

I lost 700 or 800 posts from my total and jumped up about 10 or 15 spots!

I lost a few i think, but i had been very happy that i had gotten my posts/day up over 0.60. Before i got DSL in August i was at .14 or so...... oh well, kick it into overdrive time :D

I do think veteran members should be able to keep their old status though.
Newer members would still have to go through the motions of upping their status.

I registered in 2001, but didn't really start posting until this past year. Guess I kind of lucked out.

I do remember when the status was taken away for some time though. People were crying foul when they did that.

Rumor has it many losts posts found somewhere in Florida.

Oh man, at my new average it is going to take me 1500 days to get back all the posts I lost. Yikes!!!

I wish I remembered how many posts I had so then I could sue SkyDog saying his upgrading led to me losing posts, which led to me having an emotional breakdown. I'm guessing the more I lost, the more money I'll get in the long run.
