Congrats to LSU
 

Late in the season, I thought there was no way they would run the table. They proved me wrong, and deserve at least a share of the title. Congrats to the Tigers!

Indeed, and this Tiger fan will accept the congrats. LSU won in traditional Tiger style, with the defense having to do the job in the final quarter. LSU indeed had to run the table after the Florida game, and they did, and a lot of other things had to fall into place for LSU to be in the Sugar Bowl, and they did, and then the Tigers did what they had to do to win the national title by the BCS rules. Is LSU better than USC? I won't claim that, though I think LSU matches up well against them. I'll gladly give USC its share of the title, but LSU won the BCS title.

I'm a USC fan and since I started working for LSU I've been an LSU fan. I'm happy with them both sharing the national title. However, I would love to see a playoff of at least the top 4 teams in future years.
