OT: Another golddigger bites the dust...
Prosecutor says allegation wasn't corroborated
Associated Press PHOENIX -- Charges against Kansas State quarterback Ell Roberson appear unlikely, the Maricopa County attorney said Wednesday. An acquaintance accused Roberson of sexually assaulting her at a Paradise Valley hotel on New Year's Day, the day before Kansas State played Ohio State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Roberson has told police the sex was consensual. The county attorney's office received the report Tuesday and hasn't yet decided on whether to press charges, said Bill FitzGerald, spokesman for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. He said he didn't know when that decision will be finalized. Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley said Wednesday morning in an interview with Phoenix radio station KFYI-AM that although he hadn't yet looked at the police report, charges appeared unlikely because the allegation wasn't corroborated. Romley also said he wasn't looking at criminal charges because of additional statements made by the woman, though he didn't elaborate. Roberson was cleared by the university to play in the bowl game. "A through review of allegations against senior quarterback Ell Roberson has led the university to conclude that no criminal act occurred," athletic director Tim Weiser said last week in a statement. Last Thursday, Weiser had criticized police for released Roberson's name, even though no charges had been filed. Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1702484 |
He still should get a suspension from whatever league he plays in next or from whatever job he has next because...well well because..... well if he was ACCUSED, he had to have done something wrong and we have to we have to prove to these "spoiled" athletes they can not get away with this kind of stuff:rolleyes:

He had sex, and in a way, that's a form of compensation, and student athletes cannot receive compensation.
So suspend him! |
Didn't the incident occur about five hours after curfew?
|
That only counts when playing Baylor

Golddigger? Those CFL contracts must be paying more than we know.
I do find it funny that Snyder has said he will handle the curfew violation "internally". Maybe the graduating Roberson will run laps next fall for his CFL team? |
Whew. I thought something had happened to Anna Nicole.

Me too cuervo...me too.
