Poker Today (1/14)

There's a PokerStars Freeroll at 2:30 PM that's regging now that I'm planning on entering. We'll see how it goes.

rkmsuf 01-14-2004 12:49 PM

Tried to play monday evening but was shut out of the 9:00 pm tourney...it was limited to 1000...may give it whirl tonite...

sabotai 01-14-2004 12:51 PM

THe freeroll that's regging now is not limited in the mount that can join, FWIW.

RPI-Fan 01-14-2004 02:35 PM

update?

rkmsuf: You need to really be on the ball to get into the 9pm one.. make sure you're there when registration opens, and right as it gets to "under 1 minute" you have to be absolutely on the ball in terms of clicking "register" and hitting "ok".

I won't be able to play tonight, but might watch if anyone posts their table #'s or whatnot.

I think I'll give that one a go as well.

sabotai 01-14-2004 03:55 PM

After the afternoon freeroll started, something came up and I had to leave. So I decided to just go all-in with whatever I was dealt and see if I doubled-up if I could sit out for awhile and come back to it...I lost.

chinaski 01-14-2004 04:43 PM

ill be there for the 100$ freeroll

sabotai 01-14-2004 04:52 PM

I'm probably going out tonight so I won't be playing tonight.

TLK 01-14-2004 05:30 PM

The 9 PM at AP is registering now....

hoopsguy 01-14-2004 05:47 PM

I'm in. Up to 816.

hoopsguy 01-14-2004 08:45 PM

How are you guys doing in AP tournament? Hanging out at table #127 right now a little over 3k, about ten minutes before first break and blinds now at 40/80.

TLK 01-14-2004 09:01 PM

9210 after the first break

chinaski 01-14-2004 09:03 PM

ug, im too embarrassed to say.

hoopsguy 01-14-2004 09:06 PM

Nice work, LK. Hoping I don't have any reason to check in on you for a little while, but good luck keeping it going.

hoopsguy 01-14-2004 09:23 PM

Out in ugly fashion. LK, what table are you at?

TLK 01-14-2004 09:29 PM

134.... but it's ugly here too.....

TLK 01-14-2004 09:31 PM

BishopMVP is sitting pretty though....

sabotai 01-14-2004 09:33 PM

My plans fell through and I'm thinking of joining the AP 7 Card Stud midnight freeroll.

BishopMVP 01-14-2004 09:34 PM

13,040 on Table 113. Nearly got run out, had ~800 at the first break, had K-J, flop came A-Q-10 and 3 people called me on my all-in. Got a few nice hands since, was up at 16500, but started playing a little too aggressive and dropped to the 13000.

BishopMVP 01-14-2004 09:47 PM

Is Daimyo playing? I have a Daimyo33 at my table with 13300 in chips. I'm down to 10740 and 6th at my table

TLK 01-14-2004 09:52 PM

I'm out.... the last half-hour was painful.....

Probably gonna be similar for me soon. 7520 left

MJ4H 01-14-2004 10:12 PM

Nice flop for Plumber2000 there.

BishopMVP 01-14-2004 10:39 PM

Finished 41st. All-in and had a A5 straight, lost to a 4-8 straight. Got lucky a couple times before, but couldn't keep it up.

How do you watch other tables?

TLK 01-14-2004 10:51 PM

go to the tourney lobby.... find the table you want... click view table

It's not there for me :shurg:

Earlier today, when I logged in to register (first time I opened absolute since about christmas) there was a lot of updating it was doing. It seemed like it was updating skins or something, got hung up somewhere and I canceled it so I could register. I'll probably just re-download the client in the next couple days.

Daimyo 01-15-2004 10:03 AM

Yeah, I am Daimyo33. Was trying out a new system last night. Finished 80th so I guess it worked pretty well. Got called all-in pre-flop by 35s and they made a flush. *shurg*
