New Owner - 3ric

IHOF Offices - Atlanta, GA
January 16, 2004

At this time we would like to annouce the admission of 3ric to the International House of Football. Hailing from Goteborg, Sweden, our newest owner's first response to ownership inquiries was to ask whether he could manage the IFK Goteborg squad in our international football competition. When informed that this was the International House of [American] Football, he replied, "Oh, I'll just put a team in Pittsburgh, then..."

Here at IHOF, we welcome owners who exhibit great enthusiasm such as this.

Good to hear it :) 1 down, three to go now, right?

Thanks! I'll have to sleep on what nickname to take, feel free to make suggestions. I've thought about "Spartans", but that's just because I like the sound of it. Don't know really.

3--

As I stated in another thread, my team (Fairbanks) is classifed as "frequent flyer," though I have no problem with reclassifying it as Western. If you wanted a team in Sweden, you could take my place in FF.

If you are attached to Pittsburgh (and every league should have a team in Pittsburgh) then feel free to stay there.

I'm flexible.

3ric, will you join our "foreigners" division ?

Hmmm,. It's already kind of full. Although If he wants to, we could push the Alaska team (albionmoonlight?) into the "West" division.

Alaska really is more western than overseas....

well it was the "frequent flyers" division. No debating they'll be racking up the airline miles. :)

I'd be fun to join the "frequent flyer" division - it'd be fitting. If there's no objections then I could be the Gothenburg Giants instead and accept albionm's offer.

However, if you want to stay put then I'm content to be the Pittsburgh Spartans or Welders or Rivers or whatever... still undecided after a night of sleep. Nevermind I saw they've already relocated albion in the other thread...

("Gothenburg" is an older, anglicized spelling of my hometown's name that's still used as the name of the town of Gothenburg, NE)

That would be really nice to have the four European based teams in one division.
Sorry for Albionmoonlight to leave a potential weak division...

I agree with MIJB & Darkiller here, I would love to get 3ric in the "All European" Division !
