Are you a message board junkie?
 

Saw this on another board and I thought that it was appropriate. I don't think there's any question as to where I fall on the question...

A sure fire way to tell if you are a junkie....

If you have ever innocently logged on to a message board, with the
intent of reading a couple of things, and then you find yourself
writing a couple of things....and then you look at the clock, and
discover that you have been there for hours.

For some strange reason, when you log off, you have a burning desire
to know what is being said in your absence.

You log in purely to read what you missed....and then you find that
you have to respond to one or more of the said missed commments.

You begin to log on just to see if a specific poster is on....and if
they arent, you leave posts asking where they are.

You begin to log on to wait for said posters to arrive.

You log on everyday, and if no one is there, you open a new browser,
and check in occasionally, while doing other more important, yet
less interesting things.

You schedule your work and chores around the busiest posting times.

When the board closes, you get depressed, and start a new board.

You begin to think of the posters as your "friends"

You begin to disclose personal information with your new "friends"

You are saddened when your friends are no longer posting.

You decide that "real life" isnt anywhere near as fun as the board.

You have nostalgic memories about the "good times" on the board.

Holy shit.... I said yes to all but the scheduling my life around the busiest post times.

guilty. I pretty much have this board on at all times while online, playing FOF, etc...

I'm also guilty of quite a few of the things on this list. I generally keep this board in the background whenever I'm on the computer and frequently read the topics as they are updated.
