Pingo: Classic Airplane lovers
 

It seems there are a few of you out there.

Most folks don't know it, but some classic airplanes of the past are still in the air, and you can be up there in them. For a fee.

There are a number of places out there that will take you up in planes like the B-17 & B-24.

A short ride will cost you as much as $500, but the money goes to keep the planes alive, so it is more of a loving donation than a fee.

Then, the next time you Memphis Belle, the amazing roar of a Fortress as she guns for take off will be familiar to you.

If you love flight or history you absolutely must see the world from a B 17, just like our grandfathers (or in Bucc's case, son) did.
