OT: Van Helsing
 

I saw this trailer for this movie during the Super Bowl last night. I almost fell out of my chair with wanting to go and see this one.

Hugh Jackman is starring in what looks to be one heck a of action flick for sure.

VAN HELSING

I hope it doesn't suck, because it looks like one of those that you think may be cool, but is really a sucky movie in disguise.

I thought it looked way too cartoony... I know its early, but the CG characters looked too fake.

Major suckage -- industrial strength vacuums will suck less.

My wife was laughing at how bad the special effects looked.

Those were Phantom Menace bad...

really? Well here is hoping the movie knocks every one of your socks off!

I am hoping that it will not stink!

Van Helsing vs. The Monster All-Stars! Looked kinda hokey.

I was briefly exited, but then realized this is just another LXG. A movie that really should be a lot cooler than it actually ends up. The story also really doesn't look like its going to make much sense. He's going up against Frankenstein, The Wolfman, and Dracula....right.

i honestly don;t think Jackman would have taken this role on if the script was awful.

that said, i really can't stand CG characters anymore. when will Hollywood get it - it doesn't look any more real than makeup?
