This is disconcerting.
 

I am sick today.

Hopped online, talked to a friend of mine in CA. She is sick today, with the same shit. She informs me one of her friends on the east coast is also sick today, with the same shit.

I had a sore throat yesterday. She had a cough. Her friend had the headache.
And today, it turns into The Plague for all three of us.

Coincidence? Or Sign of the Apocalypse? Perhaps tomorrow the three of us will be reborn as Angels of Destruction? Tune in tomorrow!

I've got some nasty stuff too, and it seems like I know a lot of people who are sick right now also. The scary part is that I'm re-reading The Stand right now, so I'm super paranoid about this...

What's even more disconcerting is that John Titor predicted this.

I had a sore throat last week.. and still have a cold.. two others at my place of work (out of 7 people) have started with the sore throat... and two others are in the same position as me.

I dunno... I always thought it would be cool if an event like the one in "The Stand" actually happened... that is, only if I got to be one of the .3% that didn't get sick...

But the better question is.

See, I never understood that part of the book, and, in fact, King lost me when he got all paranormal with the bad guy and all.

If 99.7% of the population was dead, I'd find myself a good looking woman and a nice place to live and just keep to myself - none of this taking sides crap.

I have a headache, but I'm pretty certain it's not because I'm sick.

Same here, because I feel fine. :)

And I also agree on the taking sides part, who needs it. Good, evil, it's all about the same at the end.
