Get's Curt by hiring his buddy as coach, loses the best player in baseball to the Yankee's. I was impressed that he managed to get the Rangers to actually consider taking DH Manny

You really think Theo had something to do with losing ARod? That extra money wasn't coming out of HIS wallet. I think it's safe to say that Georgie is willing to part with more of his cash than Boston's owners.

It would of been nice to get A-Rod. But its not like he was going to fill a hole, love him or hate him the Sox still have one of the best offensive players in the game in Manny, and still have one of the best offensive lineups in the league.

Add Curt Schilling and Kevin Foulke to the mix and they are a large step above last year.
