You know that game was yesterday right?

Were you that shocked? :)

HornedFrog Purple 02-18-2004 08:24 PM

I know I just got home, I work long long hours. I skimmed it in the paper just now and thought it was the womens team. :D

Our mens team is pitiful.

Did you see Pitino's press briefing after the game. The words deer and headlights came to mind. Frog mens team plays a game like that every decade or so just to remind us of the Goo Kennedy years (you are probably to young for that reference, HFP).

WOW! ummm I guess you could say that's a pretty good win for TCU

JeeberD 02-19-2004 01:42 AM

Even UTEP could whup on TCU this year. That's really gotta be embarrasing for Louisville...

Yeah that is a little before my time. But Killer used to pull one of those off once in a while, and then of course we received the curse of Moe Iba... talk about a guy who struck out on his dad's gene pool. :D

Regular season college basketball, eh?

So, does this mean that Louisvile's championship hopes are now crushed? Was this a "big game" for them?

HornedFrog Purple 02-19-2004 09:50 AM

Well it does put a major dent in them winning Conference USA, but they are still going to be tournament bound, so as far as a higher seed in the NCAA tournament I would say yes it was a big loss. C-USA may have 5 teams in this years tournament.

I was just astounded about the score, I thought it was a misprint. :)

Plus Shorty needed to see this since he posted earlier this season when Cincinnati destroyed TCU by about 40 points. That's pretty much what everyone expected Louisville to do also (at least I did).
