OT: The aristocracy (elitist political rant)

The misunderstood, much-maligned aristocracy.

What is it about the aristocracy that is so baffling? Why do so many among us not want to have an aristocracy, instead we make a somewhat complex world into a pluralism? Does that make any sense? The aristocracy really has nothing to do with pluralism, it shouldn't even come to mind.

So I say down with pluralism, Yay to the aristocracy.

Ways to deal with the aristocracy: 1. If your Russia, kill them (Czar Nicholas) 2. If your China, send them to a re-education camp (Last Emperor) 3. If your England, marginalize them into a Disney-like presence for tourism and tabloid sales (Queen Elizabeth and her disfunctional family 4. If your America, create them out of celebrities (anyone of the Hollywood coke-addicted crowd that live above the law in the U.S.)
