no story yet, but look where it says he signed...

Wow. If true, I hope he stays healthy...

Also says big Ted Washington signed with the Raiders. I liked that guy too, oh well.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent DE Jevon Kearse (Titans) on an eight-year, $66 million deal.

From KFFL

Holy #%*$! This is so "un-Eagle like."

Next thing you know, TO will be an Eagle.

Tasan 03-03-2004 05:14 PM

As a Cowboys fan, Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Franklinnoble 03-03-2004 06:35 PM

How the hell did Danny Snyder drop the ball on that one?

Galaril 03-03-2004 06:42 PM

Good Luck Eagles

From a Titans fan good riddance.Kearse has been injuried about 50 % of his career. When he is healthy he is a great player. Is he worth that much money? I don't know. But, he seems to wear down during the season and is alittle lax in his offseason conditioning for his star status and the money that comes with it(IMHO).Eagles are fools I think for paying what Kearse and his agent asked for.Good luck you'll need it.$66 million wow

AgPete 03-03-2004 06:46 PM

I think the money would have been better spent on TO. WR is just as big a weakness and with TO you get the age factor but he's been pretty healthy in recent years. I hope they're not planning on signing both players. I guess that 3rd NFC Championship loss really got to them. I'm a Cowboys fan and it's a b!tch watching the two teams with the biggest moves so far (Redskins and Eagles) in my team's division.

BigJohn&TheLions 03-03-2004 06:47 PM

He's an awsome 3-4 OLB getting beat up playing DE

It must really eat you up inside having to cheer for those Dolphins as they are led by a bunch of ex-Cowboys coaches. :p

You obviously haven't seen my post in the Shawn Springs thread. The days of rooting for the Fins are long over.

You'll come back. They always come back. :)

Kodos 03-03-2004 06:58 PM

I could see that happening with a TOTAL clean slate. Huzienga would have to go, Dave would have to go, etc. But I have to assume that won't happen, and move on as best I can. There are obviously worse things in life than not having a true favorite team in your favorite sport, but I can vouch that it sucks. :(
