I don't see anything wrong with it. If you worked on a farm and was around cow shit, you would probably take a shower now and then. In this shower, you would be washing off cow shit. Why should human pee be any worse to put down a drain?

I haven't peed in the shower since I was in high school playing football, peeing in the empty shampoo bottles and watching people dump it on their heads.

honestly, whats the taboo against peeing in the shower, especially if you are alone? I mean, you're going to clean yourself afterwards, its not like its going to stick on you!

Peeing in the shower has become such a habit for me, that I once peed in the shower with my girlfriend there...and she said "something in here smells like Cheerios". I got really embarassed, but the water was hot so my face was red anyways.

This whole topic smells like cheerios.

I played football with some guys who would actually go and piss on another guy's leg while in the shower. I also remember a guy pissing in a beer bottle and another guy taking a swig. Damn! I hate remembering that. Too gross for words.

once in a while i'll get the urge to pee once i've alrady stepped in the shower. instead of getting out and standing naked/shivering by the toilet i just aim for the drain. i don't ever pee on the floor, that's not right, if someone wanted to take a bath i wouldn't want them to sit where my pee had been. but if it's in the drain then what's the difference?

I go by the "aim for the drain and the tub is clean" philosophy myself. :p

I think the people who freak out at the thought of peeing in the shower are the same ones who faint at the sight of blood. It's harmless and washes right off people! Pee won't hurt you!!!...(unless it's frozen and thrown at you really hard)

I'll even concede that I like letting a yellow jet loose in a warm bath once in awhile.

edit: I only do that once in awhile though. Not like 100% of the time.

now, to me, theres a big difference between peeing in the shower and peeing in a bath. in the shower, it washes right off... but in a bath, its like you're washing yourself with your piss... right?

In case you've ever tried it, you'll notice that the pee completely disappears in a matter of a few seconds. I've never washed myself with pee-water!


edit: I can see my pee in the shower for a heck of a lot longer than I can in the tub, so one definately seems to go away faster.

edit2: and no, I've never peed in the tub while my girlfriend was with me.

What about all the cleaners in the water that keep it clean? They must be designed with urine in mind...I can't see a danger there.

I mean, think about a bath. It touches every nasty part of your body and people don't seem to care.I mean, ALL those places that gather grime and muck and sweat and stuff. I can't see urine making any difference at all, besides, like I said it disappears pretty damn quick unlike some of the other things in there sometimes.

I don't see any problem about peeing in the shower. Of course i wo't ever if i'm taking a bath as you will bah on your pee. But the pee on the floor of the shower dissapears so fast with the water.
Also when i was a kid receiving Karate class, our sensei told us one day that to pee on public showers it's a good thing to do, as your pee contains substances (amoniaco said in Spanish, NH4) that kills all the bacteries that you can get at your feets in public showers like at gym, work etc. If you know a bit about chemistry, it makes total sense. Of course i always follow my sensei words ;)
