I followed the directions on installing your FOF2004 viewer and everytime I run a game log, I get the following message:


Visitor logo file missing logos/gif

Home logo file missing logos/gif


The scoreboard is blank. Any suggestions?

If Im not mistaken the FOF2k4 viewer is just a modification of my TCY viewer. If I remember correctly, you need to a: make sure you have unzipped the logos into a logos subdirectory (to where you have the viewer: i.e. c:\viewer\logos\) and then check very closely that all the filenames match up in the teams.col file (or whatever its called in this mod). Sorry for not being any clearer but its been years since Ive touched that mess of code and I have no idea what 3ric did with it :)

You need to edit the config file that is in the root directory of the util and then place logos that correspond with the abbreviations (in the config file) into the FOF4 logos folder.

I will be setting this up for all of us in the Independent Football League.

Sounds like too much of a hassle to me. I don't feel like messing with all that just get the program running. Wish it was just would do as the instructions say. :(

Ask in your league if someone else uses the viewer and can share the fof_teams.col file and the logo pictures, then you don't have to do it yourself.

any plans to update it to make it work 'off the bat'?
