How to Upgrade

I own FOF "the fourth edition" and I'm wondering how to upgrade to the new "2004" version. (My game starts in a previous season, but, I'd like to start with 2004).

Do I just download the patches? Is there something I need to purchase? Something else?

I looked around for FAQs or something that addressed this but couldn't find anything on point.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It's a separate product not an upgrade. You'd need to purchase the full version. Don't worry, it's well worth it.

There isn't an upgrade to FOF2004. You just have to purchase the new version if you want it. Sorry.

You just beat me.

Yep, it was a dead heat. :)

Thanks guys, I appreciate your very prompt response.

It's just that this could be really bad for all of us.

I'm sad to say that I must download this product from the internet and make a valiant attempt to hide the purchase from my wife. (I'm a computer/football junkie, I can't help it -- I should be in one of those 12-step programs -- but, at least I admit it, Okay?.)

Here's the bad part....if my wife finds out....I'm going to have to come live with one of you guys.

Bummer.

I've got a couch you can sleep on if you'll split the rent and utilities.

Avoid Fritz when it comes to living with someone from here. Although if you enjoy being tortured by having a dog lick peanut butter off of you, North Dakota is beautiful this time of year.

Just do what I do. When the wife comes in with the credit card bill in hand and asks "did you buy another game?", in the tone wives use, I just hand her $40 cash and say yep :)

Another way to do it would be to buy one of the prepaid visa/mastercards from the grocery store. Your wife need never know.

Or you could have just stayed single and not have to answer to anyone... :)
