Ping: OOTP CBL Cardinals roster set
 

Everywhere I go is down. Does anybody know where I can get CBL roster set for OOTP6? Thanks.

CBL quit updating it, as of the latest release. The roster set is for OOTP5, im not sure if OOTP6 can convert it.

is this roster set any good? can somebody who has used it give a "review" so we don't have to put a lot of time into setting up a career with it only to find out it is crappy.

MizzouRah set one up (a league) using them and said it is pretty darn good. If we could find the latest version and give it a try I guess we could find out.

Also, what other alternatives are there? Any other good ones?

Read Me says for OOTP6..

Its _very_ good. On par with GForce's 2003 set for sure. There has been an update to the set recently, but it was done by another person. I havent used 1.4, but it looks like a quality effort to keep the CBL set going.

Thanks chinaski! Yeah, it is pretty up to date and seemed pretty good from what I saw. Let's give it a shot.

The link Terps posted seems to be what you would want though.... CBL DID update the 1.3 roster set to work with OOTP6! woohoo!

The CBL roster is really good and up to date, and I also think it will work with 6. My only problem with it is that I had some serious questions about a lot of their ratings. Bothered me a little, but that's just my take.

I like having all the past records and stuff when I play...how the HELL do you install all the stuff? I am kind of new at this and the main read-me won't come up for me which would probably explain the whole thing.

Can somebody copy and paste the step-by-step directions for getting it all put onto a league?

You should just have to extract all the files into the main OOTP6 directory, and that's it.

Yeah, just checked. Go into your main OOTP6 directory, there will be a folder CBL Version 2, I think it was called. Open that folder and there will be another folder inside of that, copy that folder to the main OOTP6 directory.

Then open up OOTP, click on Continue League, then go to the File drop down menu, and Open League, and it will be listed there.

I'm a little unclear as I can't view the readme doc right after the download for some reason. Should I unzip the file into my main OOTP6 directory?

Unzip everything to the OOTP6 directory and then do what I listed in my last post in the thread.

I'm getting a windows error with OOTP6 when I try to download open file after hitting continue game with the CBL 1.4 rosters. Anyone else getting this error?

On to the stadiums! Where can I get Ankit's stadiums or is there a better one out there I should get?

I just decided to try uninstalling the game and redownloading the roster file in case I somehow messed up. The only problem is I forgot to unlicense before uninstalling it, does that mean I just lost one of the licenses?

I think you only need to unlicense if you're installing on a different PC.

Well, I had no problem re-installing OOTP6 and I didn't lose a license, and I realized that I didn't use your link but the OOTP one which was to version 1.4 of the CBL rosters and that version is NOT OOTP6 compatible. Thanks again for the help Terps.

Draft Dodgers face pack isn't on that site MizzouRah and the CLB creator recommends using this face pack. I think it's the only one currently created for this season. Any idea where to pick this pack up??

Look in his signature, the link is there. I found a post of his in the OOTP preview thread, but you maybe to find it somewhere else that isn't quite as long. I believe his post was either on the 3rd or 4th page of that thread.

yep - Powweb shut me down - went over 5 gigs in 24 hours, and now I have to wait for them to reactivate me. didn't think I'd get hit quite that badly, and, actually I've been busy tonight and wasn't watching it and now it's too late.

I'll tell you something. That's one hell of a face pack. It has added so much to this game for me. I guess that's what's so fun about text games, people doing stuff like this, making a good game even better. Maybe that's why I get excited about logos in FOF, even if they're little. :)

Hi, I know this is going to sound really stupid but ... where do I throw the folder/files to make this pack work? Haven't played OOTP in so long I've forgotten and now I want to use this face pack and I'm not sure where it goes.

The photo pack gets unzipped into the Photos subdirectory of your .lg directory.
