Playoff Performers

I'm having real problems getting my teams to reach their potential, so to speak. My Cowboys franchise is in year 15, and we consistently have one of the best (if not the best) rosters in terms of talent in the league, with the only roster turnover coming at the bottom end each year. I've tried everything from changing gameplans to hiring the best coaches, etc. My HC has excellent ratings for most of the "critical" areas, including motivation and playcalling. Yet for some reason we always underachieve in the playoffs - we either lose in the first or second round to inferior teams.

Does it help a team in the playoffs to have more players with high leadership ratings? Is playoff experience even a factor at all? A team's best players should take it up a notch during the biggest games, but mine usually seem to disappear.

How's the team chemistry?

Are there more "Affinities" than "Conflicts" on your roster?

For your position players who act as team leaders, what's their leadership level?

I have run into a number of similar situations. And I found that team chemistry can have a great deal to do with it. Bad chemistry, in my experience, will still allow you to put up great stats each year, but in big games your team will faulter. Then, I decided not to sign any player that one of my currrent players expresses dissappointment with. My playoff performance got a lot better real quick.

Hukarez is right. Give it a try and see what happens.
