The menu Tools/Internet Options, the "Advanced" tab, scroll down the list, I think it is near the bottom.

Are you using pop-up blocker software?

What do they say? Maybe this a Windows Messenger Service problem (pop-up ads through a windows security loophole)? Even with script debugging turned off, you can a few other types of errors on webpages, but knowing what the messages say can help with the solution.

I was only asking because when I was still using IE with pop-up blocker software, the blocked pop-ups would occasionally generate script errors like the one's you're describing.

I get an Internet Explorer Script error, it gives detials and then asks if I want to conitune to run the scripts on the page.

I have the box for "Disable script debugging" checked and the box for "Display a notification for every script error" unchecked and I don't get any messages like that. Did you check/uncheck both boxes (in Tools/Internet Options/Advanced)?

I have the same way you have. I even tried restoring default settings which also have it the same way you do. No dice.

That's weird. Do you have the most recent updates to IE6? If that doesn't help, I'm out of ideas.

GoldenEagle 05-07-2004 02:12 PM

It seems it only does it for one website., whih is hattrick.org - It does it even when I am not on that website. I am grabbing the latest updates and going from there.

Did you install a Visual Studio product recently?
