FOF: Air Force WR going #1 overall
Is it me or what ?
It seems that I've seen sooooooo many Wide Receivers (from Air Force) being drafted #1 overall in FOF since I've been playing the game (1998-99). Wether I'm talking about Single player (FOF2 and others) or now MP (our IHOF league with FOF2K4) : I keep witnessing those Air Force Wideouts going #1. How' bout you ? (maybe I'm dreaming but...) |
He only went #1 cause we had no QBs in the draft.
|
Tyrus Shaye comes from a proud tradition of Air Force wideouts. After all, he has to play football - at 6'4", 211; he's too big to pilot.

Well well well Mr Peterman, hold your breath and witness how Mario Hudson lights the IHOF in a few years ! Then we'll talk about this 2005 Draft not having Quarterbacks to speak of :p ;) |

Ahem.... Chad Hennings, DT, Dallas Cowboys: 6' 6'' 267 lbs He flew A-10s in Gulf War Vol I. |
Yeah, but the A-10 isn't really a plane. It's more of a brick with wings and a bigass cannon. :)

Ahhh, the warthog is getting some props from FOFC! :D (My all time favorite fighter plane)

I used to live in Tucson near DMAFB... those damned things made all kinds of noise flying overhead... I liked how the GI Joe version had the vertical take-off capability... |
I'll take the Spectre Gun Ship.

The squadron logo for some C-130 gunships operating out of Hurlbert Field in Florida is "You can run, you'll just die tired."
|
You guys are using the term "fighter plane" rather loosely.
And Franklin, the VTOL A-10 was a Cobra plane, called the Rattler. It was cool, except it had a turret in the tail. That always bothered me... |
