Make that two of us. Two hours of sleep just don't cut it. Good thing I have nothing on my plate tonight... except for kids. :)

I came in at 10 today. Going home now would make me feel bad. Well, not bad, but at least a little guilty. OK, not a little guilty. I still shouldn't leave this early.

JeeberD 05-20-2004 03:33 PM

I only had to work for a little over an hour today. Went in, took care of a 30 top, and came back home.

Very nice... :)

cartman 05-20-2004 03:43 PM

It's for reasons like this, I'm thankful to the deity of your choice, that I'm going to get to work from home once I'm back in the US!

GoldenEagle 05-20-2004 03:44 PM

I was at your home earlier, nice home but your wife is even better!

heybrad 05-20-2004 03:50 PM

I usually leave early on Thursdays because I'm the coach of my sons T-Ball team (practice day) and as I was making sure everything was OK so I could get out a little extra early today, I just received a message that a drive has gone out on our AS400.

Now I'm stuck. Ugh!

MJ4H 05-20-2004 03:51 PM

As of today, 1:00 pm, I do not have to be back to work until August.

Thanks for the compliments on the house. I hate to break this to you, but that wasn't my wife, it was Frank the Gardener...

Ouch. Nothing worse than a malfunction in the afternoon. Had a few T1's go down yesterday afternoon and it was a long evening. Good luck!

I'm sorry cartman, I had to go down and visit where we were going to be living together. And Frank was just so adorable in his little overalls...

bbor 05-20-2004 05:01 PM

You will all be happy to know i am home now and ready to nap....as soon as GE and my german sheppard are done in the bedroom :D

Coffee Warlord 05-20-2004 05:04 PM

MizzouRah 05-20-2004 07:05 PM

TLK 05-21-2004 12:25 AM

I've been working a bunch of 12 hour shifts..... so working 8's has been very nice this week.....

Franklinnoble 05-21-2004 10:57 AM

I prefer the term "Landscape Engineer," not gardener. Thanks.

Stay awake, or you'll miss recess.

I've got a dilemma right now: Go to happy hour, or go home and take a nap?

Maybe: Go to happy hour, THEN go home and take a nap...

Complication: I'm still really hung over from last night.

Any advice?

That's an easy one. You can accomplish both. Just go home and drink until you pass out. Problem solved. :)

Coffee Warlord 05-21-2004 01:42 PM

Welp. CW's Drinking Process for Friday.

Work(Hell) ends.
Walk across parking lot, go into bar.
Drink Guinness, Smoke Cigarettes.
Go home.
Eat Dinner.
Go back to bar.
Drink more.
Go back home.
Pass out.

corbes 05-21-2004 01:46 PM

CW: The place I'm moving into in August is right across the street from a bar. That sounds dangerously like the next year of my life...

Coffee Warlord 05-21-2004 01:54 PM

Heh. When I lived in Chicagoland, I lived 5 minutes away from a rocking Irish Pub. Whew.
