wow--got my first thread closed ever!!!
 

Well, as I suspected, I went over to the OOTP boards and posted my displeasure regarding a major bug for people who are using Windows 98...the thread got a bit testy, and within 6 hours of correspondence, the thread has been CLOSED!

I'm posting this because it is the first time I've ever had something like this happen to me...I'm a bit shocked, amused, and dissapointed...

As a fully functional member of society who does not take out his aggression on message boards, I am a bit concerned that my message would be closed when all I was posting was a concern regarding the lack of response towards a bug that prevents me from using the game...

Anyways, I think my students will get a kick out of this...next time I'll be sure to add a few f-bombs and ridiculous claims...j/k

I think I'll keep my posts to this board...both on-topic and off-topic, this board has a great deal of patience, and even when others I respect disagree with me, the discourse is always civil and informed...

I saw your thread and to be honest the problem you are talking about has been stated many, many times the developers know about the problem and I trust will fix it.

Just because it isn't on YOUR timetable is what you are crying about......plus the game IS playable (there is a workaround).

Suck it up, Markus will fix it when he can.

Just make a new account.. on a different ip address. and post the same concerns! :)

Can someone do something with this please. I am quite tired.

Fully functional what?

Judging from the amount of babies popping out around here I think FOFC has plenty of fully functional members.

Some folks, when ernestly trying to find a solution, would try a search first before poluting a board with a redundant thread. And I'm sure adding the f-bombs and ridiculous claims would only add to your credibility.

no f-bombs were used in the making of this complaint and the only ridiculous claims were in regards to a fully functional member... :)
