YAHOO!
My coach candidate popped to excellent experience with 12 days to go before I can make him my coach :D
how much should it cost to make him a solid/weak trainer? |
Should be somewhere in the $600k to $650k range I would think.
|
crap, i gotta raise some funds then.
|
That would be about the same as it costs to recruit one externally. Would seem like a waste to me.
|
Whew, I thought it was a little high. What would it be ballpark to turn him into one? I've never changed a coach yet and I can't check in HT yet since I have 12 days til he's been on my squad 16 weeks.

It seems like converting (internal recruiting) has a diminishing return around inadequate leadership range. Converting people with lower leadership than that doesn't seem to provide a lot of savings. But I haven't done much scientific study so that's just an impression based on a few players.

597300-675000 To make that guy coach. If it aint less than 617 100 US$ don't bother. If it is less--And you NEVER/can't ever sell the guy off because he isn't very good.... too old... or whatever, make him coach. But honestly, you probably should have went ahead and did internal recruiting a long time ago.
|
I couldn't internal recruit anyone until now, it would have been worthless since my team is barely a year old. I think you mean external recruit, when I had the money I didn't know what I was doing so I spent it all on upgrades to my lineup.
|
I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much for solid/weak when $270k will get you solid/poor.

About $675 000, assuming you do it before he accumulates much more experience.
Vs. $268 700 to externally recruit a solid/poor. |
Hmm that does seem high. I may just sell him and buy a solid/weak.
