who do i keep and train?

I bought this guy last week. over bid but i needed a trainee...

Edmond Hole
TSI = 570 (57 000 US$) , 17 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities [Powerful]

Nationality: Schweiz

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: weak
Winger: weak Defending: inadequate
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: inadequate

i bought this guy today for 5k:

Páll Eysturlíð
TSI = 110 (11 000 US$) , 18 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities

Nationality: Føroyar

Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: passable

now, Hole is a good trainee. I could get him up damn high by the time he is 20... the other dude though is from Foroyar, which is a new country. I can have him to solid-excellent by the end of the season, and brilliant by the time he is 20. can he make the u20 or nat team and is it worth it? one of them will play in my league match, so, who do i keep and who do i drop???

Føroyar is not really new, they've been around for a few seasons at least. The U-20 coach posted this:

The Føroyar U-20 is currently
looking for players (age max. 19)
with the following skills.

Keeper: Formidable

Defending: Formidable

Playmaking: Formidable

Winger: Formidable

Scoring: Formidable

So yeah, he might be considered... I'd still prefer Hole, whose value won't depend on whether he happens to make the team (although if he did, with that experience and Passable leadership, he'd be a fine coaching prospect).

cant keep both, have 5 other really good trainees (including 1 who is a 18 year old formidible-almost outstanding who is unfortunately just a few weeks off of USA u-20 pace

keep the suggestions coming, I have another day to decide

Páll Eysturlíð - I promise he won't make the U-20 team.

hmmm, alright thanks... I just figured hed be outstanding before he is 20...

He might make outstanding before 20, but will he be formidable at the start of his 19th year? That's what the U20 coach posted, and your guy's not even going to be close. If he was 17 you might have had a shot.

good call, meh, he cost 5k, so was worth a shot *fired*....

since my season is gonna be a waste (i might not win a game) i really wanted to spend some $$$ on a u20 canidate. problem is i have $350k and thats not enough :(

Look for a 17 inad from some really small country. Dutchfan's got a guy with a good shot at morrocan's U20. Then again, it helps when the best forwards on the team are solid/excellent-ish.

Ya gotta get lucky or shell out a ton of cash. Neither of which are going to happen for me unless I get a TON of money. :)
