I'll have ESPN next week and NCAA maybe this weekend, but probably in 3 weeks.

Question: I have the X-Box Live CD and starter kit thing, and enjoyed it for the first few months, but then never used it, and thus didn't pay for a 2nd year (it seemed to de-activate itself after a year).

How easy is it to re-up if I wanted to play NCAA online (and how much does it cost?)

NCAA2k5 comes with a 2 Month Free trial, then I think like $5 a month or $50/year (check xbox.com for details)

I'll try to pick the game up sometime this week. Then I need to see if I can get my X-Box live to work. I was having troubles with it when I first got it...

If you are willing to pay another $10 to get a year subscription to live, you can head down to your local Target. They are selling 12 month subscription cards for $39.99, which is ten bucks cheaper than doing it online through the live service, and ten bucks cheaper than most places are selling it retail.

Eaglesfan27 is my XBox live name. I'm not sure what my EA sports name is because I haven't used it for a while. I probably won't get online tonight as I unexpectly had to work today, and am just getting home with the game. However, I expect a nice night of online play Thursday night (assuming some FOFC'ers are online)

I just got on EA online. The name you use when you go online is your Xbox live name, not your EA sports name.

As far as the servers go, I'm sure they're pretty swamped right now. Give it time. Wasn't one of the concessions MS made in order to get EA on Live was to let them host their own servers?

Are you a BC fan? If so we can do a Rutgers vs BC. But, whatever the teams I'm in. It should be fun.

That happens to me with a lot of my discs. I just remove the disc, put it back in, and it clears up. Dunno why.

my XBox live name is jeeshsta, and I've had a few problems staying online. Plus, the quick tournaments could have been done a little bit less confusing.

Oh, sorry, it doesn't happen to me in game. It just tends to happen to me when I first turn my Xbox on. Urgh.

I haven't even broken the game out of the box yet and had a chance to see the differences from last years version. I also need to see if I can get Live to work properly for me since I've had trouble with it in the past.

Can't get connected to EA's servers right now. Playing a dynasty game at the moment. I play 10-minute quarters, and I just hit halftime, so I'd say that it'll be another 25-30 minutes before I can try to get online again. Looking forward to maybe playing one of you guys tonight. :)

I'm not able to get on EA's servers either. I won my first and only game so far, a 14-10 UTEP victory over NMSUx. My offense played terrible and both times I scored were on hail mary passes at the end of the two halves...

I'm on call tonight, therefore, I won't get online tonight when I might have to quit midgame. However, I'm looking forward to playing you all tomorrow afternoon/evening :)

Yay, servers are back up, but the friends list is down. I hope EA gets this fixed soon. Anyway, I just used Memphis to beat a guy at Notre Dame. He subbed in a WR at QB and thought he could scramble all over the place. I put a double spy on him and shut him down. I won 31-0. To his credit, he didn't quit, and he didn't try any tricks to get me to quit. My record is now 1-0. Yay! :)
