Ugghhh, I-Worm.mydoom help needed
 

Ok, I don't think I have the actual virus, but heres what happens to me. Everytime I load windows I get a blue screen saying that I have been infected with the I-Worm.mydoom virus and to "click here" to scan and dissenfect my machine, of course I always click cancel. When i click cancel it exits out of the blue screen and I get a minimized instance of IE that i can't bring up, I always right click close it. I searched google and best I could figure out is that it is something put on my computer to try and get me to purchase a product to sweep my system ala adware, spybot, etc. Now, the problem i'm having is that I cant get rid of this damn thing, I did a search on my computer for "doom" and I always get the same file, a doom_alert.html in my documents and settings folder. I delete the file and clear my internet cache and then do a scan and removal using both adaware and spybot, things should be swank, but when i reboot, boom, I get the same blue screen and the same file is back in the same place. Does anyone have any idea what i can do to get rid of this nuisance?

Go back to the Restore Point from the day before.

Yeah, it looks like that's what i'm gonna have to do unless I can find another solution.
