A question of Organization

In my friendly this week, I noticed that my "organization" was mentioned several times. What factors effect this, and why did they comment on it when it went from weak to weak? Is it coaching, asst. coaching, what?

Aksarben saw most attack opportunites on the wings and were directing their passes that way. Almost all the way down to the corner flag Ugo Recchia somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Gustavo Gaivota who struck for 0 - 1. In the 32nd minute, Aksarbenīs Bernhard Ramsier made a rush down the left, leaving him free to put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. Jon Ovesson sailed high, high above the opponents as he headed the 1-2 in after a corner kick after 33 minutes of play. In the 37:th minute Thistle put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was William Cordova. Thistleīs Gustavo Gaivota received a play slashing through the home sideīs defense in the 40:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 1 - 4. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. After this Thistle lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Thistle had, after 42 minutes of the game, worked the left side industriously, creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but somehow didnīt achieve closure. Gustavo Gaivota increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 1 - 5. At that, Gustavo Gaivota was noted down for a hat trick. Halftime score was 1 - 5. Thistle, bringing the final ball possession rate to 78 percent, dominated the battle.

In the49:th minute Fidel Nava surprised the guests goaltender with a snappy free kick, reducing their lead to 2 - 5. Jon Ovesson of Thistle received a yellow card in the 52nd minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Aksarben appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. Bradford Ho almost put the reducer away having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. Aksarben appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. In the 74:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 2 - 6 as Francisco Javier Zaragoza finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Lorenzo Tartaglia of Thistle received a yellow card in the 85:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In the 86:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 2 - 7 as Gustavo Gaivota finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Aksarben appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. Thistle held the ball, with a clear 87 percent possession rate.

You used a formation in which your team does not have excellent experience.

daedalus 07-31-2004 02:46 AM

Out of curiosity, have you read the Rules page yet?

arahe 07-31-2004 04:24 AM

Yea, I have read it...maybe there is something I am not getting.

I wondered if it was simply experience in the formation, or if there was something else not right. I guess that answers that question for me...

Section 12. Individual orders and repositioning and 13. Experience and Routine have some good information for you to read.

You did not tell us how familiar your team is with this formation, which makes it difficult to answer your question(s). Your captain relative lack of experience at inadequate did not help your team's lack of organization. Like all Hattrick ratings, two "weak"s does not have to be the same. It is a name that is used as a placeholder for a range of numbers. If it falls from 4.7 to 4.2, it's still a 4 and therefore would remain the same rating. In this case, "weak".

I ran a 4-3-3, and I am listed as "Excellent" under the Formations in Training.

you were likely at inadequate or passable before playing the formation, which is why you got confusion. When your team is confused hattrick now tells you how well your team is organized. I don't know what effects this, maybe team experience.

This is what I have going on now...

-=-
Training

Training Level: 95%
Training Type: Goaltending
Coach: Federico De Angelis (since 7/8/2004)
Team Spirit: irritated
Confidence: strong

Formation experience
4-3-3: excellent
4-5-1: poor
3-5-2: weak
5-3-2: poor
3-4-3: solid
5-4-1: poor

daedalus 08-01-2004 02:42 AM

Then you should not be facing confusion if your team play 4-3-3 next game and more than likely not with the 3-4-3 either. Any other formation and you will likely to have confusion. Again.
