I haven't tossed off to the Simpsons since Season 8. It's been downhill since then.

Damn, my memory is failing me. Too many crappy recent episodes are pushing out all the good stuff.

I agree, though there have been some surprisingly good episodes this season, they've really been trying to track the show back in some of its old directions. But the last few seasons have been largely bad IMO.

What you gotta do is look up which episodes will be on in your area in advance. I saw that in my area for the next few weeks the ten o'clock episodes are all from the last two seasons (they've shown one episode three times in one week) so I don't bother watching those and will just watch the 6 o'clock ones. The bad ones were starting to taint my memories of the good ones, so I had to do this.

Or you could get the DVDs. I'm too cheap to get it for myself. I'm still waiting for *someone* to get that for me for a birthday or something.
