I am having to set up a router for my roommate. How much is it going to slow down my internet?

I can't get cable or DSL where I live, so excuse me while I go cry you a fuckin' river.

I'd say unless you're downloading a movie off movielink or transferring huge files, you won't notice much of a difference. If you're downloading files (like the latest CM setup file), then just get a download manager, those normally compensate for whatever is lost. Otherwise, you won't even notice in web surfing.

as someone's who Indian, I can assure you that most bangladeshi's probably wouldnt appreciate being referred to as Indian. fyi.

Pardon me... I didn't know the word for Bangladesh natives... so I used "Indian" because I generally assumed that folks native to that peninsula weren't that racially different



Anyhow, I should think the Bangladeshi's would be more offended at the presumtion that they are too backwater to have high speed internet. But, hey, if you want my apology, you have it.

I think they prefer the term "Native American Bangladeshi".

We didn't have high-speed of any kind available until last year. Wonderful invention. I wouldn't go without it now.

Na- i was being too prissy, so I changed my line. That being said- I dont care- I know Bangladeshi's who damn well would. It was an fyi- nothing more.

Also, high speed internet access in Bangladesh is pretty damn spotty.... :D
