ok, as someone who just signed up with pokerstars today...why $11?

10 to the prize pool and 1 dollar to Poker Stars.

Also, $10+1 is the smallest buy-in tournament I can create.

I'd be there, but I'll be at a Weird Al concert. I'll have to catch the next one.

I would love to play but I don't get off of work until 7:30 PST.

I'll still be in Miami, so I'm in this one.

And, the bounty still stands. If you knock me out before we're in the money, and you finish in the money, I'll match what you win.

I will add a $5 bounty on previous winners of the FOFC tournaments.... The first person to knockout a winner of a past FOFC event (cartman, Ragone or Rpi-Fan) will receive $5....

I'd play, but I'm extremely bad at poker. Instead of giving my money to you guys, I'll just donate at it to my church.

I may play this one. Darn schedule conflicts kept me away from te first few.....

I would love to play, but I don't get paid for another two or three weeks. If I can scrounge up the $50 to deposit, I'll join you guys. But...I may have to hold off, once again. It stinks, since I'm hitting a nice run in tourney play (yesterday, played four tourneys, finished 130th out of 900 at FT, 190th out of 7,976 at Stars, 358th out of 6,000 at Stars, and 11th out of 900 on FT...it was a good day, just from a solid poker outing standpoint).

That said, I hope I find a $50 on the street. ;)

And I'll be missing out on the stargazing down the street at the MTV VMAs. So I plan on taking everyone out in a quick and painless manner so I can get from my hotel to the AA Center and not miss much of the action.

and a bad beat story. I was in a $25+2 sit'n'go at PS. I entered the pot with a A8s (diamonds). Two others were there to see the flop with me. The flop was outstanding. 9 10 J of diamonds. Nut flush, plus open ended straight flush draw. I decide to slowplay, and put out twice what the ante was. Next guy calls, but the final player goes all in. I call, and the other guy folds.

His cards, yep, you guessed it. KQs, diamonds. Ugh.

I'll take out my frustrations on my fellow FOFCers tomorrow night.

Withdrew all my money from stars as I noted in another thread so Im out of this one. Good luck fellows.

Quick question, If i dump $50 into Stars to play the Tourney, will I be able to take out what I have left or have won immediatly after the tourney?

Yes, you should. It might depend on what you use. If you use NETeller, then yes, since their min. for withdraw is $5. (EDIT: But looks like you'll have to wait a few days after what TLK just said.)

Ok, 48 hours is no big deal, just didn't wanna have to wait 2 weeks or some such nonesense. I'm in the AP $1K Sunday tourney at 6. If i'm out of that before 9 i'll be there.

well, luckily my prior engagement (work) was cancelled, so i'm probably going to be in this. I'm not home right now, but expect to be by 9.
