Big TCY Question!!!
Just wondering, will there be a patch concerning the conference shifting?
That is; Miami and Virginia Tech to the ACC from the Big East, Connecticut to the Big East from Indy status, and Troy State to the Sun Belt from the ranks of the Indys. This I one thing that I really need to have to make this game feel right, especially now that the '04 College Football Season is underway (Big cheer for that). Thanks in advance for the info... MK |

Uhh, G.E... I'm going to have to ask you to keep all jibberish aside.. :) How are you my friend? One more year until UCF/UM is a CUSA Eastern Divisional matchup.
Back to the subject at hand, I know we've got some HUGE TCY'ers in here... Somebody help me out. |

Are you making the trip up to State College for the UCF game this year? |
Hey bsak, nice to hear from you... Hope all is well..
Actually I am skipping the PSU game this season, instead I'm travelling up to Madison, WI for the season opener this coming Saturday against UW. We've also got West Virginia coming down to the Citrus Bowl the following weekend (September 11th), for Coach O' Leary's home opener, before travelling to State College the following week. Tough start I must say.. I hope we can come out of these first three better than 0-fer.. |

That's too bad I was hoping that you could come and tailgate with us. Yeah that's a tough start. Beat Wisconsin for us. We are goin gto need all the help we can get. I think PSU can win about 7 games this year. Any more than that will be gravy. Good luck to you guys this year. Ever since I saw UCF play at PSU a few years ago I have rooted for them. Good Luck! |
To answer the question above, Jim has not said if a patch adjusting the conferences will be made or not (that I know of).
I think most of us are hoping TCY2 is coming. But that's just specualtion. Jim has not said anything. |
I think Jim's the only one that can answer your question.
|
I think you're right on the money there Cam. I will be contacting Jim to see what his plans are for this issue...
Even though the current alignment in Division I-A College Football will only be lasting for one season, it certainly does bring quite a bit more realism to the game to have the conferences set up correctly, although I will admit that I do enjoy the addition of the Sole-8 Conference (Last Frontier Conference/Alaska in my UCF Dynasty). It is a nice touch. |
By the way, it's good to see you around here again. One of my listeners works at UCF, and he sent me a hat to wear on the air. I'll wear it once a month or so... probably more now that football season is here. :)

Do you have a hat "thing?" Subtle shouts out to friends? Sponsorships? A general rotation? I notice that you always wear one, but never really paid attention to what it said (though I won't tell that to your sponsors if you do have any). |
MK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU ALIVE AND KICKIN AGAIN BRO!
We miss the Runnin Knights in the FOBA Leagues bro! May God Bless you bro! |

Nah, no sponsers. I have a general rotation: -Red Sox hat -Oklahoma State hat -Brooklyn Dodgers hat -monochrome Red Sox hat -NRAnews.com hat then the "every now and then" group of hats -UCF -Chicago White Sox -Chicago Cubs I'll wear any sports team cap that someone sends me, as long as it has nothing to do with the Yankees or Lakers. And a quick funny story about my Red Sox hat. I recently had the chance to meet George Will, and the first thing he said to me was "you're wearing the wrong hat." I meet a legend, and he gives me shit about not rooting for the Yankees. Go figure. |
Bump! (In case anyone who possibly had some info on this hadn't seen already).

UTEP's gonna be playing at Memphis in '05. I can't wait.. :D |
That's right.. I'll tell you what, as much as I would've loved to have seen UCF get an invite into the new Big East, I am absolutely thrilled about the prospects of the new CUSA.
Can't wait 'til Fall of 2005. |
Looks like we won't have you guys until '07, but I'm still very excited to see how the Miners do in the new CUSA... :)
|
Hey MK, how long are you going to be around the Mad City?
|
Hey C'tac.. I'm headed up to Chicago on Thursday and will be staying there Thursday and Friday Night.. Heading up to Madison verrrry early Saturday Morning (God, I hate these early kickoffs.. What's up with this Big Ten?), and then back down to Chicago sometime Saturday evening.
I've got a couple of friends in Chi-town that I'm going to be hanging with up there.. including a drop dead gorgeous female that I've known since my High School days... Should be fun. Hey, send me an email about all of this.. [email protected] Take it easy Bro'!! |

While I am a fan of the acting talents of Mr. Jim Jay Bullock, I confess that this reference has me stumped. Care to elaborate? |
Well, I threw this question to [email protected]...
"Just wondering, will there be a patch concerning the conference shifting? That is; Miami and Virginia Tech to the ACC from the Big East, Connecticut to the Big East from Indy status, and Troy State to the Sun Belt from the ranks of the Indys." What I got was a response (not from Jim directly) to check out Solecismic.com for game announcements... Come on now, no disrespect to Jim by any stretch of the imagination, but I think that this question can certainly be answered. Does someone have a direct route to Mr. Gindin to find this info out? Thanks! |
Sigh...my guess is that means that TCY2 is on the way... :(
|
dammit Ksyrup, answer my Too Close for Comfort question!

Not neccessarily a bad thing... |
Yes it is, unless the game has changed radically...
|
Hater. I'm playing the first at this very moment:)

Dola
You don't like TCY. You don't like HT. What kind of a monster are you?! |
I'm the kind that likes FOF and OOTP and FBCB... :)
