Thank you very much!

Shkspr 09-06-2004 02:27 AM

His backup must have been pissed.

FBPro 09-06-2004 02:29 AM

Yikes...

Marmel 09-06-2004 02:34 AM

After about the 13th game, I was rooting against him as far as getting that touchdown pass. Needless to say we'll be looking for a franchise QB with that #1 overall pick.

Sharpieman 09-06-2004 02:55 AM

what did this guys ratings look like?

Darkiller 09-06-2004 03:01 AM

no....that can't be true.. lol

CHEMICAL SOLDIER 09-06-2004 09:49 AM

Worst.Qb.Ever.

EagleFan 09-06-2004 10:10 AM

I think the coach let that whole POW thing affect his decision to bench her.

miked 09-06-2004 10:52 AM

Any comments, Lynchy?

sachmo71 09-06-2004 10:55 AM

I'm surprised that his rating was even in the 30's with the td/int ratio.

Marmel 09-06-2004 11:05 AM

He rebounded nicely the next year, still getting the start. There was not a decent QB in the draft...

JJ Lynch
279 for 540 (51.6%)
2,878 yards
5.32 average
13 touchdowns
23 interceptions
57.5 QB Rating

We even won 3 games!

CHEMICAL SOLDIER 09-06-2004 12:26 PM

At last his TD/INT ration is getting better.

Ryche 09-06-2004 12:31 PM

Sadly, that TD/Int ratio wasn't that much worse than Dilfer's in Tampa back in 1995. 4 TDs, 18 Ints. He became respectable so there may still be hope.

JJ rode the pine the next season then became a free agent. New Haven must have been very impressed with his showing on our team and signed him to a 3 year contract, then gave him the start. They went 4-12. Here is JJ's line:

288 for 506 (56.9%)
2,803 yards
10 touchdowns
18 interceptions
64.3 QB rating

He is getting better.

Apathetic Lurker 09-06-2004 04:20 PM

5 years from now: all-pro

Darkiller 09-06-2004 05:22 PM

LOL, I think he can officially be recognized as the worst FOF QB in the history of the series no ?

CHEMICAL SOLDIER 09-06-2004 05:54 PM

I'll wait and see a few more years and a few more updates to judge whether he is the worse qb or not.

Marmel 09-06-2004 06:17 PM

New Haven cut JJ after one season and he signed a 1 year deal with Reno. He started 2 games with Reno, throwing 1 touchdown and 5 interceptions.

Boise City signed him to a 3 year contract and gave him the starting job. He started all 16 games for Boise City and they went 8-8. Here are JJ's stats for the year:

16 starts
334 for 578 (57.7%)
3,810 yards
6.59 average
28 touchdowns
19 interceptions
80.1 QB Rating

He is fully developed now and my scout rates him as a 52 overall. His talent is very evenly spread out across the board as far as the red bars go. He is around a 50 in every category except for accuracy (82), timing (98) and Short passes (31).

cthomer5000 09-06-2004 06:56 PM

I think it's time you bring him back home.
