We suck. I wish both Bowdens leave...

Peregrine 11-06-2004 01:07 PM

Temple's giving WVU all they can handle so far, but it's early.

Noop 11-06-2004 01:45 PM

Ohio State and Michigan State is a great game..

JeeberD 11-06-2004 01:53 PM

I finally got to see a clip of Thomas Brown... :)

cartman 11-06-2004 01:59 PM

Where has OSU's Ginn been this whole season? That guy is a stud!

JeeberD 11-06-2004 02:54 PM

Go Aggies!!!

SunDancer 11-06-2004 03:12 PM

A&M up 14-0 on the Sooners.

kingfc22 11-06-2004 03:13 PM

Cal - Oregon tied at 14. Niether defense has made a stop yet.

kingfc22 11-06-2004 03:18 PM

dola

Make that 20-14 Oregon after Cal fumbled away the previous kickoff, but they just missed the PAT.

JeeberD 11-06-2004 03:29 PM

And the Ags add another TD...

21-7 A&M :)

cartman 11-06-2004 03:35 PM

What happened to two Big 10 (+1) teams that early this year looked really strong? Purdue is getting beat 17-0 in the 2nd quarter by Iowa, and Minnesota is getting spanked 28-0 in the 2nd as well.

JeeberD 11-06-2004 03:50 PM

Wow, 28-14 A&M with half the second quarter left to play.

Quite the high scoring game...

Celeval 11-06-2004 04:09 PM

How about that A&M fake punt?!

JeeberD 11-06-2004 05:03 PM

And now A&M is trying to give the game away...

Noop 11-06-2004 05:12 PM

Where is the OU gang bang at? They are now leading and now can come out to run their collective mouths.

This team looks more and more like Penn State every week. Ugh. I hope he steps down before it reaches that level.

SunDancer 11-06-2004 05:31 PM

Cal is back up 28-27, Iowa is up only 20-14 to Purdue, Tennessee is down by 1 to Notre Dame. A&M driving back to try to tie the game.

JonInMiddleGA 11-06-2004 05:53 PM

Tennessee, minus an injured Erik Ainge, losing to Notre Dame (gag) in Knoxville :(

Rick Claussen throws like a girl. About like a 9 year old girl.

mauchow 11-06-2004 05:54 PM

#1 Wisconsin! WOOT!

General Mike 11-06-2004 05:58 PM

shoot me, someone, anyone

SunDancer 11-06-2004 06:28 PM

Wow, what a game in College Station.

Celeval 11-06-2004 06:30 PM

Hell of a play in Texas-OSU - screen pass by OSU that involves about six missed/juked tackles and 70-some-odd yards for a touchdown.

Does the Tennessee loss put UGA in the SEC title game or is non-conference schedule irrelevant? I guess the specific question I'm asking is, if there is a tiebreaker in the SEC between UT and UGA does head to head play come first, or does overall record come first?

JonInMiddleGA 11-06-2004 06:48 PM

Non-conference schedule is entirely irrelevant, except (AFAIK) in the event of an unbroken tie for a c'ship game berth -- in that case, the higher BCS seeded team gets the shot.

This year, that scenario doesn't come into play since there's no way for UT & UGA to be in an unbroken tie -- the H2H is the first tie-breaker, so the rankings don't come into play.

duckman 11-06-2004 06:49 PM

All I can say is wow! The Aggies really took to the Sooners in the first half, but fortunately, they were abel to pull it out. Jason White was just awesome in the game after throwing 5 touchdowns. Peterson got a tough 101 yards despite a very focus A&M defense. That's his ninth straight 100 yard game which is a NCAA record for a freshman.

Reggie McNeal will be a bonafide Heisman candidate next year. I personally think that he has as much talent as Mr. Vick at his current level. It was too bad that couldn't finish the game because of an injury. It would be much more satisfying victory if he was the one playing the final minutes.

Radii 11-06-2004 06:49 PM

Thanks, wasn't sure how that was set up.

cartman 11-06-2004 07:36 PM

Jeebus, where was Texas' defense in the first half?

Actually he got the record at 8, because the other guy who had 8, his record was wiped off because he set the record in '68, but freshman didn't play in varsity until '72. So he obviously got his stats in dome freshman games.

I got to see him in person return one to the house against Wisconsin a couple weeks back. He already had 3 TDs on punt returns this year coming into the game. Tressel is just now figuring out how to get him into the offense. I think part of the problem was he was originally recruited as a CB to be the next Deion Sanders and they are just realizing now what he can bring to a lame-ass offense.

In my 30 years of watching OSU football I believe he is the fastest player I have ever seen at OSU. I heard they timed him at 4.22 in the 40, and I believe it.

cartman 11-06-2004 08:30 PM

We've got a barnburner going on here in Austin right now!

It's on TBS if anyone is looking for it.

Hehe... gotta be honest, it's the name. Probably just because I'm a computer science geek - but I read your name as no-op... short for 'null (no) operation', which is programming terms means "do nothing".

:-D

No team in the Big Ten should be in the top 8. The BSC computers have it right with ranking them 11th. It really sucks that they removed SOS from the BCS.

cartman 11-06-2004 09:27 PM

Wow, what a game here in Austin. Down 35-7 with two minutes left in the 1st half, ends up a 56-35 victory. Glad the defense decided to show up in the second half!

Derrick Johnson is simply awesome.

SunDancer 11-06-2004 09:31 PM

Miami is having a fight with Clemson.

The_herd 11-06-2004 09:37 PM

Randy Shannon sucks...

vex 11-06-2004 10:07 PM

Fog Bowl!

vex 11-06-2004 10:14 PM

13-0 OSU over USC in the Fog Bowl.

JonInMiddleGA 11-06-2004 10:19 PM

Clemson & Miami in OT ... who woulda thunk it?

JonInMiddleGA 11-06-2004 10:20 PM

Also today ... Furman stunnned Georgia Southern

It's official: Miami sucks! :D

Passacaglia 11-06-2004 11:02 PM

So far, OSU has been used to mean three different schools, with no clarification.

That is all.

Passacaglia 11-06-2004 11:03 PM

Okay, maybe that's not all.

All you college nuts should join the FCFL!

CHEMICAL SOLDIER 11-07-2004 01:21 AM

Timmy Chang is the all time leader in passing yds now, I think he holds passing td's as well.

dawgfan 11-07-2004 02:17 AM

Washington has sunk to new depths this season. The Huskies may have the worst passing game of any college team in the last 20 years.

But we'll still win the Apple Cup... :p

Noop 11-07-2004 09:25 AM

If Glenn had played we would have beat Clemson.

He also holds the record for the most INTS.
