i love Beer, but man i love mix drinks too..i just put the mix drink in front of my girlfriend, but i am the one actually drinking it...that a nice way to cover yourself and still be maucho :)

Scotch with a Generous splash of room temperature water. Ice and Scotch just shouldn't mix.

Bombay Saphire Gin and a nice dry Vermouth Martini. This is what I drink when I'm on a mission to find oblivion. Next Weeks christmas party will be an exception, because it is being held at a restaurant that serves a large compliment of Single Malt Scotch.

i pregame with Corona beer, sometimes if i wanna keep it a lowkey nite i'll just drink beer (cheaper too). i don't use bottle openers either when i pregame, they're for sissies. i open them with my teeth. it's great at parties. i open all my friend's non-twistoff beer bottles with my cuz we're usually too lazy to get a bottle opener.

It's funny that you mention that, I had one for the first time last Wednesday. It was called something else I think, but it was pretty good. I usually go for a nice Black Russian every now and again. I also like a whiskey sour (those are GREAT when you are already hammered) and vodka tonic.

Hm... for some reason or another, I've always wanted a "signature" drink that I get whenever drinking, however rare that may be, but I've just never been that thrilled with the taste of many drinks. I think my primary problem is that I'm looking for something that actually tastes good rather than looking to get smashed but that's not going to change. Anyone got some ideas for something that doesn't taste too strongly of alcohol (I mean, really, it's not that great of a taste) but has some in it and actually tastes *good*?

I have a strong tendency to free-pour anything I make, so I can only assume that those measurements are right, they seem pretty close. As for the milk, a couple of shots & a splash sounds about right for about a "rocks glass" size to me.

Irish Car Bomb, with a full pint of guinness on stand by.

Repeat every 4 pints or so.

And if you want to harken back to the college fraternity days, I'm sure many of you will remember similar recipes as this one:

1 Gatorade Cooler
1 Broom
10-20 pounds, sugar
40 packets, kool aid
1 bottle Everclear
1 bottle Rum
1 bottle Gin
2 bottles Vodka
Lots of Ice

Place alcohol and kool aid in dispenser. Mix foul concotion with broom handle, bonus points awarded if handle is painted, extra bonus points if broom has no paint on it once brewing complete. All participents in the Punch Brewing process must take one sip of this, before adding water/sugar. Don't ask why, just do it. Start adding water and sugar. After original 10 pounds of sugar in, begin adding more sugar until one cannot taste the alcohol, continuing to stir with broom coated in lead-based paint. Fill cooler up most of the way, save room for load of ice.

Give to women. Get laid.

If you're gonna drink, do it right.
