In all seriousness, because I understand the difference between laptops and portable DVD players in terms of portability. I've been doing A LOT of research on this myself TheLionKing and assuming you're talking a reasonably priced (say sub-$300) one I think that from what I've seem there really is no one "safe" brand at that price. So whatever you get, make sure to get a replacement plan for it. Circuit City has good cheap 3-year plans I hear. That being said I think the Magnavox 7270 (?)...the 7-inch one seems to get good reviews. As does the 7-inch Mintek. Apparently according to people who have pulled them apart the Minket and Magnavox have IDENTICAL parts through and through, so with Magnavox you're paying the extra $ for the brand name. But those two seem like the front-runners in the rather-inexpensive market (Walmart has the Magnavox for 228 right now). Also the Audiovox tablet-style 7-incher looks alright, as long as you're sure to get a replacement plan (seems that a % of them overheat). That's just my .02 cents though. Other suggestions (not laptops) welcome.
