Batman Begins
New trailer online...
http://batmanbegins.warnerbros.com/ Looks pretty decent. It would be nice to see this franchise get a good fresh start. |
I saw a trailer before Oceans 12... drool

Hey it's Qui Jon whatever. He's a Jedi you know.
Much different look and feel to this one. |
I've been looking forward to this since I saw Nolan directing and Bale starring... could be good things. :)

At one point Batman and Robin looked interesting too.....

dola,
the Nolan/Bale combo does have me cautiously optimistic. |

Me too. My girlfriend said that she think's it'll flop, but I think it'll do well... |

I didn't know you had such a thing for George Clooney. |

Nah. It will do well. It's Batman. Comic book movie. Summer blockbuster. It will be marketed out of the wazoo. I think it looks really good. Some solid acting. Solid looking action. A good feel to it. Infinitely better than the last few Batman flicks. Since we're talking about Warner Bros. comic book flicks, Constantine looks interesting as well. I rarely hold out any hope for a movie where Keanu is the lead (Matrix was the exception, not the rule). I'll see it. |
I can't wait for a Preacher flick.

That's a comic book flick? I had never heard of it before I saw the trailer, but now I'm intrigued. It looked really good... |

It's based off the "Hellblazer" books. They changed the name from "Hellblazer" to "Constantine" (the lead character) because they thought people would confuse a "Hellblazer" movie with the old "Hell Raiser" series. I think they're right about that. People aren't always too quick on these things. |
Definitely the best looking one since the first two. The series went straight into the crapper after those, IMO. I've caught "Forever" and "Robin" on TNT a couple times and they only seem to get worse with time, particularly the last one with some pretty outlandish stunts and the bizarre settings that have zero continuity with the prior movies in the series, not to mention having no basis in any urban reality we know.
