I need to find the buyer on this item and sell some gift cards to them......

I'm guessing he doesn't understand how the reloading thing works.

The other option would be to go to the store and buy it. Which, here in MD, would be a 5% tax on it. I never bought a gift card before, but I assume you have to pay taxes on it. So that $125 card would cost me $131.25. So any price below that I would be saving money as the consumer, not much money, but I would save some. As for the seller, wouldn't they lose the difference of the Sales Taxes with the additional shipping charges?

Nope, no tax on gift cards...

Well than, that is just plain assanine to buy it for more than its worth, Unless God forbid you have to get up off the frickin couch and go to the store and get it your damn self.

You can order gift cards online, probably with free shipping during the holidays.

Some people have no feasible chance to get to a store at a set time, so it's probably worth it to alot of people. I don't drive and I've only had 1 chance to get to a store this month, luckily i got everything i needed, but if i hadn't i could be screwed.

This is what stay-at-home businesses are all about.:)

You can't put a price on a $125 gift card.

This should be good. Hmm.. I wonder if anyone's ever bought the $2,500 gift card. That would probably sell for $3,000 on ebay!

vex 12-17-2004 07:15 PM

It's almost like the guy made interest off if it.

Easy Mac 12-17-2004 07:15 PM

2% to be exact.

Man, 2% on the $2,500 card would net someone $50. Not bad if you have the money and as long as there are idiots around.
