Bittorrent biting the dust?
Looks like lawsuits from everyone's pals the MPAA are taking down many of the most popular bittorrent listings including suprnova.org.
Seriously, people-- how's a guy supposed to keep up with Singapore Idol or find packages of 8000 techno mp3s now? :-) |
|
bastards! If this hurts my ability to keep up with Lost, then I am going on a rampage.
|
I dunno this is getting lame I wont reveal my other source for fear it may get shut down.

Really, 'they' know of all and any significant torrent tracker. Really. If you found it, their team of 50 computer scientists will find it (i'm making up the numbers but you get the idea - you dont actually know anything they dont). also, you think they come HERE for that kind of info ? :-p |
and therein lies the rub. 'they' dont actually have the resources to stop all P2P traffic. But they dont have to. All they have to do is prevent the REALLY user friendly ones.
As long as its geek niche it'll stay underground (even stalwares like Usenet and IRC are too hardcore for Joe Schmoe) but as soon as anyone can use it easily, thats when it gets shut down |
Usenet and IRC are still the old reliables for me.
|
My source isn't another torrent site it is the best way to get stuff and to this day I can get whatever I want... like if I want a porn from the 60's I can get hell I can get anything I want... ;)

The MPAA isnt going to raid your dad's top dresser drawer.
