SE vs FL position
 
for receivers what the difference between SE and FL?

what type of receiver would you put at SE? and at FL?

for FOF

I would put a Flanker in the FL and Split end at SE.

i've always thought of a flanker as the possession guy, split end as the big play guy.

and isn't the second split end the 3rd receiver?

By default, the #2 flaker is the #3 wide receiver; the #2 split-end is the #4 wide receiver.
Of course, the game planning gives you enough room to mess around for single formations to rotate the roles.
