Ping: Jeeber

Going down tomorrow, bucko. You and your whole foul UTEP system!

Damn shame you won't be online tomorrow. The thread would be...fun. :)

JeeberD 12-28-2004 11:53 PM

We're gonna do to the Buffs tomorrow what the basketball team did to Princeton tonight... :p

Coffee Warlord 12-28-2004 11:53 PM

UTEP bball bent over and took it up the rear from Princeton? Poor guys.

JeeberD 12-28-2004 11:57 PM

UTEP 68
Princeton 42

Halve that score and replace Princeton with Colorado and you're seeing the scoreboard at Reliant Stadium tomorrow night...

Coffee Warlord 12-28-2004 11:57 PM

Yeah, I'd imagine the scoreboard operators will get bored with racking up all the Colorado points and wanna screw with the numbers from time to time.

SackAttack 12-28-2004 11:57 PM

Colorado ain't no Princeton, Johnny. Nice first season for Price at Utep, but Colorado's gonna finish the year with 8 wins.

Somebody needs to lay off the firewater. ;)

JeeberD 12-28-2004 11:59 PM

CU has no secondary. Jordan Palmer and Johnnie Lee Higgins are gonna hook up for three TDs...

However, CU's Big XII sized D-line will slow little Howard Jackson down pretty well..

SackAttack 12-29-2004 12:01 AM

So when you said 'halve that score,' you meant halve UTEP's, for a 42-34 CU final?

JeeberD 12-29-2004 12:02 AM

Wow, I was expecting CW to come up with that gem...

Fixed. I gotta get my jibes in tonight, since you're actually gonna be there. :)

Coffee Warlord 12-29-2004 12:04 AM

Speaking of which. Make a sign for the game, dammit!

JeeberD 12-29-2004 12:06 AM

No prob, it's fun... :D

Make sure you guys keep an eye out for me on ESPN tomorrow afternoon. I'll be one of the thousands of folks dressed in orange.

Too bad there are only gonna be a few hundred folks there wearing black and gold...

It's UTEP we're playing here. It'd be like a hoarde of Michigan fans swarming 500 miles away to watch their team play Beloit.

Coffee Warlord 12-29-2004 12:09 AM

That'll work!

33-28, huh. UTEP's defense did a better job than I thought, but it appears I was overly generous with their offense :-p

stevew 12-30-2004 02:50 AM

CW pwned Jeeber.

GoldenEagle 12-30-2004 03:01 AM

There was 10 people there. I saw a bald guy with glasses on and an orange UTEP shirt in one of the end zones. It had to be him.

JeeberD 12-30-2004 06:17 PM

There were probably five times as many UTEP fans there as there were CU fans. Terrible showing by the Colorado folks.

The Miners D can to play in the first three quarters, but gave up too many big plays down the stretch. Plus, the size differential between the UTEP o-line and the CU d-line came into play just like I expected with the Miners only getting 34 yards rushing for the game.

We gave the Big XII North Champs all they could handle, but just couldn't make the plays down the stretch. However, it was a very fun game and it's been a great season for Miner fans.

Great pics from the Houston Bowl... :)

Too bad Jeeber was busy behind the lens and not busy participating in a "Jeeber sandwich"

Raiders Army 01-03-2005 03:19 PM

Uh...where were these chicks when I was in El Paso? Maybe not the right places that I was...

Coffee Warlord 01-03-2005 03:22 PM

I expect a victory gift from you, Jeeber, in the form of one of those chicks in the first picture.

UPS 2nd day, please.

Guess you didn't hang around campus much. When I was at UTEP there were a good many hot chicks all around.

Actually, you're right. I didn't...but that's because I was (am) married. From my single soldiers, though, the word was that the chicks from New Mexico were much hotter. ;)

JeeberD 01-03-2005 03:41 PM

Ooh, them's fightin' words... ;)
