Fun with player names
 

While at work yesterday I found myself to be bored...like most days...and did a search on famous names to see how many of them were out there. Here's a few I ran across:

Do any of you have a player on your roster just for the sake of being on your roster that has a name of a famous person or better yet...your name? I think that's the goal of my off-season is to acquire someone like that cause I'm a big nerd.

I have God on my roster, Michael God that is :)

Oh, and I also have a Jim "Jimi" Hendrix. Three or four people have already ht-mailed me to buy him from me. He was a youth pull of GoldenEagle, another FOFCer...

dola, I will eventually sell Jimi, but he's currently getting trained in winger and playmaking. One thing's for sure, I will never sell God. He's 32 right now, solid scorer and passer and will always be a Dragon, even only as our spiritual leader :)

I had a Hung Williams, sure some porn star has that.

I had the Angel brothers (youth pulls back to back weeks)...Would've looked nice on your roster there FrogMan...both sold.

I lowered my strandards for my training program (I don't train any forwards with passing worse than passable) to get an inad passing player with the same last name as me.

As for "funny" names... I keep Buster Arce around just because of his name. His only skills are inad PMing with inad stamina.

Red Ribbon Army in my series has Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson, and Horace Grant.

Former youth pulls of mine included Ray Bourque and Roy Roy.

I still have Jim Kelly.

I thought he'd retired, he sells cars in the DC-metro area I thought. :D
