Driver's License!
 

Yahoo! One year after my "expired" driver's license was stolen, I'm finally getting a replacement sent to me. My license had expired in 1999, but I've been in the military since then. The state of Arkansas only requires a photo copy of the license. I'm very lucky in that I had a photo copy made just 2 months earlier.

Cost: $20.

Now I don't have to study for that blasted driver's license test. Now I don't have to try and parallel park! Heck, I have a hard enough time spelling parallel much less doing it!

Congratulations. Speaking of parallel parking, a couple of weeks ago, I had to do that into the absolute minimum space that I could fit into:



Yeah, that's my car in the middle with no hubcaps. It took me about 3 minutes to get the car into that spot.

How long did it take you to get out?

Im not sure what I love more, the fact that you got in, or the fact that you went and took a picture of it.

It took about 5 minutes to get out, and that was only about 20 minutes after I parked it. I knew I had to go somewhere else, but there was absolutely nowhere else to park. :mad:

Now, ardent, don't you feel like doing some heavy duty parallel parking? :D

Screw that. I'll circle a block for 5 minutes before I'll parallel park. Even at that, I won't parallel park. I just move on to another block.

BTW, I was quite surprised to see that Arkansas sent me the license before they cashed the check. The license arrived today!
