CONGRATULATIONS PATRIOTS FANS!

Just getting a early start on this thread.. :)

Arles 01-23-2005 06:49 PM

At some point it would be nice to see a compelling playoff game.

Ragone 01-23-2005 06:50 PM

Chargers/Jets game was good.. but yea.. thats about it

TLK 01-23-2005 06:53 PM

I thought the Jete/Steelers game was good. We were spoiled by a good wild-card weekend....

Arles 01-23-2005 06:55 PM

Yeah, but if you were not a Jet fan, this playoff season has been a yawner.

QuikSand 01-23-2005 06:56 PM

The conference championships are not supposed to be about compelling and fascinating football. It's supposed to be about the better prepared and equipped teams rising to the occasion and controlling the game to advance as they should.

It's not a majority opinion... but that's more or less mine.

The thing that makes games fun to watch is that you never know which ones are going to be great and which ones will suck. Everything is relative. We can't have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers march through the playoffs in pure greatness every year after all. :D

Desnudo 01-23-2005 07:00 PM

Don't count the chickens. There's still a lot of football left. Will we see Tommy Maddox in the second half is a good question I think. Big Ben is waving the football around like a matador when he runs. Lucky for him that fumble went out of bounds.

SirFozzie 01-23-2005 07:03 PM

Exactly. 21-3.

Remember that quarter? 1st Q, Week 8, this one's not over yet.

Castlerock 01-23-2005 07:08 PM

I agree. This is not over.

TLK 01-23-2005 07:08 PM

I wonder if Patriot fans ever get tired of being in the Super Bowl? :)

Ask me when this game is over. 2 Touchdowns is pretty easy to do.. they've already done it once this half.

Ragone 01-23-2005 08:07 PM

Well either way this thread stands..

I make 10 bucks if pittsburgh comes back, so i'd thank them for watching their team choke :)

Arles 01-23-2005 08:21 PM

Paging Kerry Collins....

Dammit, I wanted the Cowboys to remain the only team to ever win three Super Bowls in four years, but now I have to root for the Patsies to beat the Geagles.

What a shitty football season... ;)
